I heard on the radio this morning that this spring has been the coldest in Britain for decades. With that in mind, it’s so good to have at least one warm day like today and I’ve taken the opportunity to go running in Richmond Park.

I’m just taking a bit of a break as I wanted to share this wonderful scene – which is full of wild foods. Over the last few years, I’ve been on a number of wild food walks which are incredibly useful and I now juice quite a few wild greens everyday.

If you are interested in learning more about foraging and wild foods, I do recommend going on a guided walk as it’s important to know what you’re looking for as so many poisonous plants look remarkably like edible ones.

I went on a walk with my local herbalist, so check-out any walks near where you live on Google.

My other big project at the moment growing food in my own garden – a project which I currently have little time to devote to, but will be the subject of a future post.
