So many people answer yes to this question, but then fail to take any action at all; prioritising work over their health! This sounds crazy, I know, but having worked in large companies for a long time, I have seen it so often and that’s what inspired me to create Raw Energy in the first place.
I wanted to develop a completely independent resource to help busy, high performing women and men navigate the modern world and make informed decisions to keep themselves and their families fit and healthy in a natural way; working in harmony with nature which we’re not only connected to; but we’re part of.

You can read my personal story here, but essentially, I created Raw Energy for myself and my family as I was fed up with feeling vulnerable, confused and, at times, out of control because of the many confusing messages around food, nutrition and exercise that didn’t necessarily have my best interests at heart.
My way of coping was to devote a significant amount of time to studying nutrition, psychology and coaching to equip me with the knowledge to make life-changing decisions such as what to eat and drink!
At times, I felt I was following the wrong plan, given that most of my peers didn’t seem to have an issue with it. But I resisted the peer pressure; engaged in trial and error and eventually created a wellbeing toolkit that worked and continues to work for me.
It’s not perfect and I continue to refine and improve it as my knowledge grows, but the fundamentals are there; and I initially trained to be a health coach so that I could share this information and help others to flourish. Eventually my approach turned into The Raw Energy Approach to physical and emotional well-being.
The Raw Energy Approach isn’t a ‘one size fits all’, approach. Rather it’s a framework to support your unique lifestyle to help you to LIVE YOUR LIFE.
It has been designed to help you navigate the modern (and often contradictory) world of food and wellbeing advice to determine what changes are necessary for you.,not other people, just you.
Though some people believe that the ‘only way to improve your health is to eat what you don’t want, drink what you don’t like and do what you don’t want to do’, I believe passionately that this doesn’t have to be the case! Moreover, good health and wellbeing is the foundation of your life, and without it, it’s very hard to perform well and achieve your potential.

Coaching & Mentoring Programmes
Do you work better one-to-one, or prefer group situations?
If you prefer the former, then get in touch and let us know what you’re looking for in a coach or mentor and we’ll try and match you with an ideal person. Our mentoring sessions can work out as little as $70 per session, great value for information and guidance that, as long as you’re committed, will change your life.
Our Integrative Nutrition coaches are all highly trained and will use the Raw Energy Approach to gain a deep understanding of what has led to your current situation; and what you’d like to change in the short, medium and long-term. I often find that just talking openly about your situation in a confidential and safe environment usually leads to insights that can move you forward considerably.

In terms of structure, each coaching session will be based on your individual needs and will vary, but will usually include:
- two 50-minute (skype) sessions per month
- online support between sessions
- access to a wealth of online resources including: informative handouts, recipes and in-depth ‘Busy People’ guides
- coaching and support to help you make the dietary and lifestyle changes you want
- our personal commitment to your health and success
