I went to Aloka in Brighton which has a raw food restaurant upstairs and a vegan cafe downstairs. We went upstairs and viewed the menu, it looked great, but a bit too ‘fine dining’ for us, given we were with our four year old son. Instead we opted for downstairs and had the delicious salad bar where you take a plate, fill it and then weigh it. The kale salad was particularly great. We over did desseet, opted for a coconut ball, slide of raw cheese cake and two scoops of raw, blueberry icecream! We also had a berry smoothie..
The whole thing came to £27 which wasn’t too bad
