I went to SAF, the new Raw Food Restaurant in London. It’s based on the first floor of Whole Foods, just down the road from Kensington High Street tube. I went with my three and a half year old son, Samson. First impression is that it’s upmarket. The menu consists of both raw and vegan foods. Cooked foods are marked with an asterix on the menu. There’s a kid’s menu, although not huge and the majority of the dishes were cooked. I selected a green salad and a green juice, but in the end only had the green juice as I needed to leave. You’ll see the menu further down. I’ll need to go back – it’s certainly not cheap, but I’m looking forward to going back. For one thing, it’s a lot closer than Old Street, where the other SAF is located.
