What you may find surprising is that whilst people have become fatter and fatter, many business brands have profited big time from this trend . A number of those brands are interviewed and challenged in the documentary, given the overwhelming evidence that radical diets, such as slimming shakes; gym memberships and slimming pills don’t work over the medium term.

In other words, whilst everything works in the short-term, people slowly regain their weight and more once they return to their normal lifestyle.
